Construction Workers Environmental Sensitization Program

The Program is designed to train professionals hired to carry out construction work on energy projects, as well as to raise awareness among workers about socio-environmental issues.

In the context of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, the Program has objectives linked to SDGs 4 (Quality Education) and 10 (Reduction of Inequalities) and which aim to:

  • Train construction site workers on procedures for recycling/handling/disposing of solid waste, safe general practices for handling/disposing of hazardous substances and addressing the mitigation of community concerns;
  • Raise awareness among construction site workers about socio-environmental issues, such as preventing air, water and soil pollution, reducing waste generation and protecting cultural resources;
  • Promote a sense of socio-environmental responsibility and citizenship.

The Program is documented by a Technical Report, containing an attendance list and photographic evidence of the activities carried out.
