The Program is designed to train professionals hired to carry out construction work on energy projects, as well as to raise awareness among workers about socio-environmental issues.
In the context of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, the Program has objectives linked to SDGs 4 (Quality Education) and 10 (Reduction of Inequalities) and which aim to:
- Train construction site workers on procedures for recycling/handling/disposing of solid waste, safe general practices for handling/disposing of hazardous substances and addressing the mitigation of community concerns;
- Raise awareness among construction site workers about socio-environmental issues, such as preventing air, water and soil pollution, reducing waste generation and protecting cultural resources;
- Promote a sense of socio-environmental responsibility and citizenship.
The Program is documented by a Technical Report, containing an attendance list and photographic evidence of the activities carried out.
