Promoting sustainability is one of Copel’s initiatives to engage employees, society and other related parties in the commitment to sustainable development, through the dissemination of information accessible to all audiences, from children’s booklets to the Company’s annual publications about the theme.
The available manuals provide information on the proper way to dispose of solid waste and guide suppliers to work in line with Copel’s policies and guidelines.
The newsletters address the Company’s initiatives in line with the United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the videos are corporate productions on issues related to sustainability.
Education Materials
Aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially SDG 4 – Quality Education, Copel seeks to raise awareness among the general public about issues related to corporate sustainability, making materials such as booklets, folders, games and posters widely and free of charge available, in addition to the Code of Conduct, the Moral Harassment Booklet, the Sexual Harassment in the Workplace Booklet and the Human Rights Booklet.
