Stakeholder Capitalism Metrics
Commitment
The set of “Stakeholder Capitalism Metrics” consists of a commitment reinforced by companies that seek to link the results of intangible aspects to their financial performance reports through the disclosure of their environmental, social and governance (ESG) practices, aligned to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda – Transforming our World, of the United Nations (UN).
Launched at the 2020 Annual Meeting in Davos, “the analyzes are purely based on existing standards, with the short-term goals of accelerating convergence between leading private standard sets and bringing greater comparability and consistency to reporting of ESG disclosures”), according to the World Economic Forum (WEF).
The project was developed within the scope of the International Business Council and had the initial participation of more than 120 companies. In 2022, Copel adhered to the commitment to adopt such analyzes for the management and disclosure of the performance of non-financial factors for the People, Planet, Prosperity and Governance pillars.
