Institutional Relations Committee
The Institutional Relations Committee (CRI) is a non-statutory, advisory and temporary body that advises the Board of Directors and will act to guide the Board in any incidents inherent to the Committee’s duties.
Its main duties are: to monitor Copel’s representation before the Federal, State and Municipal governments, in their Executive, Legislative and Judicial spheres and regulatory agencies; to act, when requested by the Board of Directors, in the supervision of any incidents, guiding and directing the actions to be taken; to provide opinions on institutional incidents, issuing recommendations to the Board of Directors; to ensure the direction and strategic definitions pertinent to the Company’s institutional relations; and to collaborate in the review of Policies and other Internal Rules that deal with the topics within its competence.
The Committee is formed by the CEO of Copel, the Vice President of Regulation and Market, the Vice President of Legal and Compliance, the Director of Communications and a member of the Board of Directors.
The Institutional Relations Committee was approved by the Board of Directors in May 2025.
